Ilona Švihlíková
Ilona Švihlíková (1977) specialized in International Economy and works as a vice-rector at University College of Business in Prague. In her works she focuses on globalization and its political and economic aspects. She is the author or co-author of five monographs, e.g. How the Czech Republic became a colony, The Greek Tragedy, Capitalism, socialism and the future. In 2010 she founded the civic organization Alternativa Zdola, in 2017 she founded the analytical website !Argument. She also works as a macroeconomic analyst for the Trade Unions and is currently a member of the National Economic Council, a governmental advisory body.
