Antoine de Cabanes

Antoine de Cabanes is a PhD researcher in Political Science and Political Economy at Université catholique de Louvain (UCLouvain), under the supervision of Clément Fontan. His PhD thesis is about the political control of monetary policy and central banks’ activities, and its evolutions in the wake of the financial crisis, in a comparative perspective addressing the cases of the Federal Reserve and the European Central Bank. He is also a researcher at Espaces Marx and, besides monetary and economic issues at European level, his work focuses on the French and European far right as well as on the issues raised by strategic debate in light of electoral sociology.
