Gabriele Michalitsch

Gabriele Michalitsch is a political scientist and economist at the University of Vienna. She has been a visiting professor at Renmin University in Beijing, Corvinus University in Budapest and Yeditepe University in Istanbul, among others, and chair of the Expert Group on Gender Budgeting at the Council of Europe. Her research focuses on political economy, political theories, and feminist economics and in recent years particularly on the relationship between neoliberalism, authoritarianism, and gender.
